Located north of Pompeii, at the foothills of Mount Vesuvius, the Boscoreale excavations have uncovered several Roman rustic villas, part of a Pompeian suburb where activities related to agriculture and livestock farming were concentrated.
Within the archaeological park, visitors can explore the Antiquarium, a building donated by the municipality. It offers insights into life, customs, and traditions in the Vesuvian countryside during Roman times, showcasing artifacts discovered during excavations.
This site is part of a mini circuit that includes the Oplontis and Stabiae sites and the Antiquarium of Boscoreale. By using just one entry included in the pass, visitors can explore all the sites in the mini circuit within two consecutive days.
