Visit the Oplontis site and the so-called Villa of Poppea with Campania>Artecard. Dating back to the 1st century BC, the villa is believed to have belonged to Poppea Sabina, the second wife of Emperor Nero.Additionally, a significant quantity of gold and silver coins and numerous pieces of jewelry have been discovered at the site.

In the center of Torre Annunziata, in the province of Naples, lies the archaeological area of Oplontis, which includes a series of archaeological discoveries related to the peripheral zone that was buried, along with Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Stabiae, following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.

Excavations have uncovered a villa dating back to the 1st century BC, believed to have belonged to Poppaea Sabina, the second wife of Emperor Nero. Additionally, a significant quantity of gold and silver coins, as well as numerous pieces of jewelry, have been found at the site.

This site is part of a mini circuit that includes the Oplontis and Stabiae sites and the Antiquarium of Boscoreale. By using just one entry included in the pass, visitors can explore all the sites in the mini circuit within two consecutive days.
