Visit the Herculaneum Archaeological Park with Campania>Artecard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Since its initial discovery, Herculaneum has gained international recognition not only as a significant archaeological site that enriches our understanding of Roman-era Campania, but also as a major laboratory for tackling extraordinary conservation challenges.

Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the ruins of Pompeii and Oplontis, the Herculaneum Archaeological Park is one of the most visited sites in Campania. Since its discovery, Herculaneum has gained international recognition not only as a significant site for understanding Roman-era Campania, but also as a major laboratory for tackling extraordinary conservation challenges.

Excavations have uncovered organic remains, including wood, fruit, furniture, agricultural goods, and even remarkable treasures of gold craftsmanship.

From March 16 to October 14: 8:30 AM - 7:30 PM (last entry at 6:00 PM; the archaeological area must be vacated by 7:00 PM)
From October 15 to March 15: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (last entry at 3:30 PM; the archaeological area must be vacated by 4:40 PM)
Closed on: January 1st and December 25th
