The Madre Museum is housed in the Palazzo Donnaregina, a historic building that has been expertly restored to accommodate contemporary artworks. The museum's exhibition spaces, spread over three floors, are developed around a striking inner courtyard and include bright, modern exhibition rooms that contrast with the ancient structure of the palace.

This combination of ancient and modern makes the Madre Museum a unique place where the history of Naples is intertwined with contemporary art. The decision to place a modern art museum in a context so rich in history is a tribute to Naples' ability to renew itself and look to the future without forgetting the past.
