Museo Diego Aragona Pignatelli Cortes

Visit with Campania>Artecard the Pignatelli Cortes Museum, housed in Villa Pignatelli, one of the very few examples of a house-museum in Naples. The park, which frames the building, is characterized by the presence of large trees and exotic plants, rare and centuries-old essences.

In addition to its extensive art collections, Villa Pignatelli is set within an exquisite English garden, meticulously designed to achieve a harmonious symbiosis between architecture and nature. The villa's former stables now house the Carriage Museum, offering visitors a glimpse into the rich history of equine transportation. The museum's collection boasts an impressive array of thirty-four examples of carriages and gigs from France, England and Italy, meticulously grouped by type. These vehicles hail from renowned collections such as the Civitanova, Dusmet, Spennati, Leonetti di Santo Janni, and De Felice collections, acquired over the course of time.
